Peter Karbe Seminar in Singapore

In photography, lenses often play an unassuming role in capturing the moment. But unknown to most, lenses interpret the light streaming into the camera and have an important part to play in shaping the photo. Peter Karbe, Chief Optical Designer with Leica Camera AG (since 2002), will deliver a one-night-only seminar to discuss the challenges met through the years of optics design and how Leica has stood at the forefront to maintain itself as the world's leading lens designers for cameras. Karbe, you may recall, was instrumental in the introduction of the APO-Summicron-M 50mm f/2 ASPH, Noctilux-M 50mm f/0.95 ASPH, Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 ASPH and X Vario/Vario-Elmar lenses.
