Jessops Now Selling Leica Gear

Back in November we reported that UK-based Jessops was to become a Leica dealer. They are in fact now selling Leica gear in a dedicated online store. The pickings are still a bit slim, but this should improve.

New England Photo Walk - Portsmouth

If you're in certain circles of the Leica community, you may have heard of London Walk, a.k.a. LNDNWLK (which one of our Exposure photographers, Johnny Patience put together). Spun off of the huge success behind it, comes the first New England Photo Walk - and is coming May 15, 2015 to Portsmouth, NH! Walk, talk, shoot then pop into a pub for a few beers! As luck would have it, this event is also being put together by a past Exposure photographer, valued friend and contributor to La Vida Leica, Ray Larose! Both Richard Photo Lab and Hunt’s Photo & Video will be supporting this event! We're spreading the word - so if you're able, go and check it out!

More Leica M8 Love to Share

Our article posted yesterday, called "The Leica M8 Can Still Find Love" proved to be rather popular! The digital Leica M8 that started it all in 2006. How many of you started with one? Today we're going to share a little more of that love with some blasts from the past. For starters, check out this original Leica M8 brochure! Some interesting stuff to be found in there, including the weight of individual components. Remember that Leica M8 tear down from about a year ago? Here's another nice piece, which premiered at Photokina 2008 on September 22 (and one we shared long ago) - featuring Wim Wenders.
