We humbly apologize for being a bit behind on our Exposure posts (we've been busy building a new La Vida Leica server!). So without further ado, we present this week's Exposure photographer... Dan Baker! Dan is a freelance and wedding photographer from Lincolnshire UK. He's been a Leica photographer for a number of years now but after recently updating his equipment to the new M (type 240) he's decided to start posting more work online once again! Times Live in South Africa is running a piece on Leica called "In Focus: Camera That Cliqued" which is another one of those (brief) centennial pieces on the history of Leica and the cameras. The interesting bit is at the end... Read more below.

From Blouin Art Info comes this video about wartime photographer Robert Capa - who covered five wars, and captured some of the most iconic wartime photos ever published. His most famous series is called, "The Magnificent Eleven," a group of 11 photos from D-Day, when Capa joined American and allied troops storming Normandy's Omaha Beach in 1944. The black and white photos were published in Life Magazine and gave the world new insight into the reality of war. Read more below for details...

We have news that Leica is producing this Hello Kitty 40th anniversary and Playboy 60th anniversary - special edition Leica C mashup - for (and to be sold at) Paris's famous shop Colette. This commemorative edition will be limiited to 10 pieces. Honestly, it would look a lot better without the copyright notices underneath... All things being relative, of course...
