A lens we've been telling you about for a long time now, does exist. We've been hearing rumblings lately, and pictures exist from it - which is leading us to believe that this upcoming Photokina in September will be the time it gets released. Pictured above and courtesy of @RedDotForum is Stefan Daniel holding a special edition, in stainless steel, Leica M-A film camera with the Summilux-M 28mm ASPH.
Right now, the lens is only available as part of the Leica M Edition 100 set. No official word on when we might see it available as a normal lens, likely available in a black anodized finish. Like we said, expect it at Photokina at the latest, if not sooner. We'll keep you posted.
