Voigtländer Discontinues A Models

As if the loss of the Zeiss Ikon last year wasn't bad enough - things for film rangefinder shooters just got a bit worse. Cosina/Voigtländer has discontinued all of their "A" (Automatic) models as of last month. This includes the R2A, R3A and R4A. The "M" (Manual) models are still being produced... For now.

I think a lot of the Bessa/Ikon parts were shared, which didn't help either.

Wow. I'm REALLY glad I have an R3A. Such a terrific camera in every way IMO.
