Leitz-Park GmbH Donates Sculpture to Wetzlar

Leitz-Park GmbH, the developer of the new Leica Camera AG company headquarters in the Leitz Park in Wetzlar, Germany donated a sculpture to the city. On-hand for the ceremony were Mayor Wolfram Dette, Dr. Andreas Kaufmann, Prime Minister of the State Hesse Jörg-Uwe Hahn and District Chief Executive Wolfgang Schuster. In a New York Times article, "Just When You Got Digital Technology, Film Is Back" author Jenna Wortham notes:

...film photography is having another moment in the sun, thanks to some hip, quirky companies like Lomography and the Impossible Project which are resurrecting this seemingly archaic art for enthusiastic hobbyists.
