Leica Announces Titanium Gray Q Camera

Leica has announced a new color for the Leica Q (Type 116) camera; Titanium Gray. It replaces black on the camera’s top, back and baseplate and the markings on the lens are in red and white, instead of the standard yellow-orange/white. Otherwise, nothing else has changed. It will be available as of mid-November 2016 and list for $4,495 USD which you can pre-order here. Read more below for details.

Leica/Huawei Create Joint R&D Center

HUAWEI and Leica Camera AG today announced that they have expanded their strategic collaboration with the establishment of a jointly operated research and innovation centre, the Max Berek Innovation Lab. The launch comes seven months after the public announcement of their long-term technology partnership in the field of optical engineering, and five months after the launch of the globally successful, multi-award winning HUAWEI P9 and P9 Plus smartphones. Leica Announces M-P Titanium Set

Leica Camera has officially announced a Leica M-P (Type 240) Titanium Set. Shipping will start in mid-October 2016. The UK price is £17,500 (incl. VAT), in the US the set will cost $22,900 (pre-order at Leica Store Miami!).

Leica Store/Gallery Boston to Open

Leica will open the new Leica Store (and Gallery) Boston on September 16, 2016 with events throughout the weekend. It is located at 74 Arlington Street, Boston, MA 02116, within the Boston Park Plaza Hotel. Hours are Monday through Saturday 10am - 7pm and Sunday 10am – 6pm. Read more below for details!
