Used Leica (RED) M For Sale

After purchasing the one-of-a-kind Leica (RED) M for the sum of $180k USD, the honeymoon is over. He's switching back to analog and selling the camera at a steep loss for almost $83k USD. Internet Hates X Vario

Leica has always had its share of detractors. But today's release of the new "Mini M" or X Vario as it's officially called - has released a firestorm of criticism across the web. Almost universally, people are balking at the "slow zoom" and "high price" of the camera. While granted, these are rather valid criticisms... The vitriol unleashed upon Leica, even on their Facebook page is bordering on hysteria. A veritable lynch mob with torches and pitchforks is forming in cyberspace and marching upon Solms as we speak...

Lighten up, people. It's a camera.

Really? Read more below for the entire, rather laughable conclusion:

Leica and Lincoln?

During the Super Bowl here in the U.S.A., a car commercial for the new Lincoln was aired - and for better or worse, showed possibly two Leica bodies. One can't be identified (but it's silver) and the other is clearly an M9... With live view? In any event, enjoy.

Even Olympic Photographers Forget Caps

We've all left our lens caps on before though we usually figure it out quickly enough. This Olympic photographer took a little bit longer... And each of those embarrassing 12 seconds were broadcast to the world. Oops. We've included a still photo here, as the IOC is hunting down any "illegal" videos... Update: found one!
