Leica Releases Firmware v1.176 for M9/M9-P

Back on August 5th, we posted the story of Leica issuing a statement on M9/SDHC card compatibility with updates posted on September 14th and again on October 11th.

Today Leica has released the latest firmware for the M9 and M9-P, v1.176. You can download it here, along with the instructions and a list of the improvements:

Knobroom Controls LR via MIDI Controller

Now this is too cool not to share and comes to us via Petapixel. Using a USB MIDI controller, you can control sliders in Adobe Lightroom (e.g. exposure, highlight recovery, contrast, etc.) with the Knobroom plug-in. If you use a motorized controller such as the Behringer BCF2000 shown, it gets really interesting. Unfortunately it only works with Lightroom and high-end (Mac) systems.
