Those really are something, that last set aren't they? Seems like a really interesting time, too 1947. Oddly enough, NYC looks quite the same today. Cleaner in some spots, dirtier in others perhaps.

That's interesting, Alex. I don't recall hearing about the attachment. Thanks for sharing those shots. In the second I immediately spotted the A Clockwork Orange poster in the background. Heh. Just recently watched it - on Blu-Ray. The ol' Ludwig Van was exquisite.
