It looks awesome, Jed, especially with your cool Harry Benz B-strap. I love the design of the metal lens shade. The next part of the "shakedown cruise" will be to take the Q into the outdoors and see if you can capture those fleeting picture opportunities. Enjoy!

Thanks for the comments; although the Harry Benz strap was acquired for my M 240, it is ideally suited for the Leica Q. It is just the right overall dimensions, & is flexible enough to allow rapid & easy adjustments when carrying around the neck, but also to be used wrapped around the wrist. And the quality & overall appearance really compliment the Q.

Jed

I also have serious MD in my right eye. Like you, the other eye is affectedbut ar a much reduced level. I sold my M gear as a result.

I am now shooting Nikon in the main, and if you can believe it, my old film Contax G's. Five really great lenses for it's use. And as an alternative, these G lenses can autofucus on the Fuji X series using the MetaBones adapter.

So I am shooting more than ever with great results. Even us 80 years olds can stay with the photo party

Good luck with your Q
