Hi guys
new to the forum
wanted to post a pick of my M3 and ask a few questions
I purchased this from a Japanese student who was studying here in Toronto last year
she told me that a friend of her family back in Tokyo refurbished the camera for her
said his name was Shintaro Yaginuma, now I have heard of mister Shintaro
but was unaware of him doing anything other than black, regardless it is gorgeous
and was fully cla'd so I bought it, just wondering has anyone come across any shintaro
camera's other than black

cheers
Carlo

Wow, that is very nice - and like you said, pretty unique! I only really remember black repaints by Shintaro. There might have been some olive/safari repaints, but I can't say for sure? Either way, thanks for sharing!

Lovely camera. I want one!

I see that you have a meter as well.

From what I've been told it would probably be best not to fit that, as they are prone to scratching the camera top.

Maybe someone more knowledgeable can advise?

Oh no? Interesting. Still, looks like a really good job. Hopefully she'll live on in good hands.

Not my cup of tea, but unique none the less.
