I'm not particularly "into" street photography - or at least, I haven't been. But more and more I've decided to practice this fun genre. Practicing is indeed half the fun; shooting from the hip can be challenging, and rewarding.

No particular rhyme or reason to the order, just some of my street shots.

Probably my favorite city on Earth; Amsterdam.

nice shots!!! one thing I like street you can do everyday... its not like wait a year to go a nice place and do some shots...

I use voigtlander 50mm f/1.1 for only 2 days and some oil start to come out and the screws start unleash.... crazy.... I endup change to Zeiss 50mm f/2 Planar.

Thanks! Yeah, so true - you can shoot street whenever the mood strikes you. I wish travel were that easy! ;)

I've heard of this happening to the Nokton before. Even on ones that are "fine" it's wise to check the little screws every now and then. The Planar is SUCH a better lens anyway, though granted it's almost two stops slower. Then again, the ZMs can develop that dreaded "wobble." I think the Summilux is ultimately the way to go, but it's pricey!

I had Summilux 35mm f/1.4(version 1, 6 bit) its a great lens for sure but for the price here(china) USD 5.200,00 I use for while then sold to bouht 28mm f/2.8 and 50mm f/2, I have use Zeiss in my D3s and I like the Zeiss signature also but..... Leica is better.

Very bad Cosina that not make a better quality control, my Zeiss works very well and seems better finish...

Great shots.

And y'know, it's funny - I think the CV 1.1 shots stand out. Lovely bokeh and character. Maybe the build is iffy - but the proof is in the pictures. And this is from a guy who usually has a Biogon T 35/2 on his camera.
