Here's a church I shot from about 1/4 mile away. The quality is OK I think given the distance and slightly hazy air. f5.6, 1/320 handheld, ISO 80. I've shown this to people on a Macbook Pro Retina and gotten some favorable comments, so maybe there's a special quality it has despite the technical imperfections.

That is very impressive, considering the distance, hazy air or not!

Are these shots really from the Leica C - or the Panasonic LF1?

Thanks - every post labeled C-112 is really from the Leica C. it's pretty amazing considering I haven't done any RAW here.

BTW, I don't normally like to post anything until I've perfected it (heh), but here is where I placed 3 unfinished C-112 images I shot over the weekend, so these are OOC except I saved them in Paint Shop Pro v6, losing the EXIF data (no surprises though, daylight auto-exposure in Program mode):

The C-112 seems to be getting colors right very consistently in sunlight, shadow or otherwise, using auto white balance. I haven't seen that good of color performance in another small digicam, possibly not even the D-Lux6.

I tend to like my photos a bit more saturated and contrasty, but that's just me. Those look really nice - like you said, very natural colors. The details are certainly there too.
