Not really, no. It's big and bulky if you compare it to a 35 summicron or 28 elmarit. But compare it to a recent summilux, 75 summicron or voigtlanders 35 noktons.. it's not bad at all.

Plus the bigger size is good for handling & ergonomics for anyone with bigger hands.
