Well, I owned this lens right when I was starting out with RFs and found it pretty difficult, but it is such an amazingly unique lens I always regretted selling it pretty quickly after purchase. So I wound up buying a new one today on eBay to see if my skill and patience have improved enough since the "beginning times" to take advantage of this w i d e lens.

My thinking is that it will make a great second three lens set: 12-35-90 to contrast the 21-50-135...all that remains to be seen, but I will post a new lens sample section as soon as I have a few rolls down.

Here's one from a few years ago:

Nice shot! There's no denying that the 12/15mm lenses are great lil' performers. Like you said though, they're... Unique! I've toyed with the idea of picking one up, as I'm a sucker for wides too (loooove the 21s). But man, these are *really* wide! Looking forward to seeing your results with it!

I really love 21mm too (if it wasn't obvious), and I've definitely gotten a better hang of it so the 12 seems a logical choice to go with a 35mm. There are people that think the 35 and 50 or 21 and 35 are different enough to carry together. I am not one of those people, but 35 and 12 are definitely different enough to carry together...

There's definitely no mistaking a 35 from a 12! :)
