This is one very gorgeous lens.
As Voigtlanders go this one is extremely nice quality in fit, finish. build and handling.

If the sun ever shines again I shall post some samples.

Very nice! Supposed to be a sweet lens (optically) as well. Definitely looking forward to samples.

There was some grousing about that knurled focus ring but in use I find it very nice.
Instead of searching for a focus tab or wrapping your fingers around a relatively smooth ring your finger hits a detent no matter where on the ring you touch it. A nice feature.

It renders just like a Summilux 50.

Focusing is smooth and consistent throughout it's range.

I can see the knurling causing a stir... As long as it's not sharp-edged, I think it's nice. Like you said, it goes all the way around and provides a great grip. It reminds one of the "Steer" by Leicagoodies.

Photos look nice; sharp.

Wow, nice! You can't complain about those results. Sharp, lovely bokeh and CA seems very well handled. I think you've got a keeper. :)
