What's not to love? First and foremost - the viewfinder! So large, clear and bright. Very uncluttered looking, too - with framelines for 28, 35, 50 and 85 only. Though I think they dropped the ball on the meter (hard to read) and RF patch (disappears if eye isn't centered) a little. Nevertheless, it gives the Leica M7 a good run for its money, offering more or less the same features for a lot less coin. It's also a lot lighter (though there's something about the M7's robust, heavy build that's quite appealing).

Anyone else shoot with one?

What a nice camera. Too bad it uses film :-) After 2 years in which I learned to develop film and developed about 40 rolls I think I'm done with it. Nice results but the process is too slow and cumbersome. So I think about selling my Zeiss. But every weekend I want to place a sales ad I hesitate.

I have a Zeiss Ikon. Amazingly dependable. I got it instead of an M7 because it too has Aperture priority and is much cheaper. I shoot older Leica film cameras like the M3 and M4. I like the Ikon as much.

Two more shots of the Ikon...

Both shot on Kodak T-Max 100 souped in Xtol 1:1 with a Hasselblad 503CW and 4/50 FLE CF and 10/21 extension tubes.

Love mine, despite the squirrely focus patch and the weird AE button. A great, light street camera and companion to the M-9. And easy to load with a swing back that doesn't detach (like the bottoms of the M's) -- I'm surprised at how this isn't viewed as a huge improvement. And easy exposure compensation. And aperture priority. A super bright finder. A recessed finder window that doesn't have to be cleaned every ten minutes like my fingerprint magnet M-9's. And did I mention that it's light?

Sad that they're not making them anymore. But I love the look of film and will be shooting this camera, along with my IIIf and Zorki 4 until they stop making Neopan 400.
