Here is Youxin Ye's new website. I highly recommend his services for anything Leica!

Ahh, good stuff! Thanks for posting the new link. Youxin is excellent.

You know, I'm surprised; I thought I had put links to repair folks up on the Sites tab. I'll do that tomorrow and add DAG and Sherry Krauter as well.

Rumor has it that he will offer a painting service early next year. For the price of the service, he has said only the top and bottom plates will be painted - and will be $300 for the paint job only (disassembly/reassembly is extra).

I've added Youxin (and some others) to the La Vida Leica Sites page under "Services" for quick reference.

Gotta tell ya, I just like the guy and his work. He is a pleasure to deal with. Maybe a IIIf is in the future from him? Hoping that is true... ;)

I sent my M3 in to Youxin for a CLA and shutter break replacement last week (Christmas time) and got it back 8 days later and for under $200 (and 5 of those days where in shipping transit). He communicated via email with every progress update and made it an easy experience for me. For a CLA or simple fix I would recommend Youxin instead of waiting 6-8 months with no communication like some of the other techs in the US

For those in California, I have had very good service from Steves Camera Repair, Culver City, Ca.
