Hi All. I'm now selling my Noctilux f/0.95. This is the new silver chrome version, just one year old. Reason for sale is that I actually prefer the softer rendering of the old f/1 version for my B&W portraits, so I'm downgrading and going back to my older glass.

The lens has only ever been used indoors and 1-2 times per month, and stored in a padded camera bag, so it is still in as new condition as you might expect.

Asking price is $6,000 USD. I'm not adverse to part ex, but I already have an f/1 so no need for part ex offers on that please folks. If you are UK based and can meet up to do the trade in person I might be interested in the silver FLE 35mm summilux, or a monochrom type 246 as part ex items, but thats about all.

Here's a dropbox link to some images of the glass https://www.dropbox.com/sh/69twdt2u3odx ... 0CkIa?dl=0

Thank you, good to know

I haven't been too active here, I'm known around the usual Leica groups on fb / the LUF so no unwanted surprises from my end either

Thank you for the warm welcome!

My new year resolution to reduce purchase of gear has clearly failed ... over and over again [emoji33]

My tryst with the first 0.95 ended within a year, maybe the shiny silver one will keep me hooked for longer

Hey, thanks Mike!

Hari, yes seen you on facebook too. No denying the 0.95 is a hard beast to master, takes a lot of patience and practice!

Nice to meet you here John!

Not so much the issue of mastering the lens, I just didn't get along with the look it delivers

I much prefer the look from my 50/f1 v4 and 50/1.2 Noctliuxes

I'm currently on a silver lens binge and have one used but boxed M246 that can go to a new loving owner
