Don't give up on me. Weather has been awful and work has been killing me. Haven't gotten off more than 2 dozen shots so far - mostly experimenting with settings. I'll get some up on here as soon as I have time to shoot something that could actually be mistaken for a photograph. From what little time I've spent with it, I am enamored! I see this one being on my hip for a long time.

Any updates on this one? Hopefully weathers been better..

I'm still here, but been down with my back. Haven't shot much yet. Now with Isaac coming, it looks to be further delayed. I'll get some shots up eventually. Love the handling of this camera. Finally picked up an EVF for it too :D

Finally got to get out and shoot the X2 on Saturday. Caught a bit of luck and it was a foggy sunrise over Lake Jackson along the AL/FL border. You may have seen these on L-Camera too, but they are the only ones I've reduced so far. All are straight out of the camera jpegs, standard settings, except the monochrome one is H/C B&W "film preset". All are at ISO200 (didn't realize this until too late  ), aperture priority. I am really digging this camera so far. Thanks for looking! Jeff

Great pictures, especially the 2nd one. Excellent composition, a total eye catcher. Keep up the good work.

Any updates Jeff?

Still looking for some real life experiences. You've had it for a while now. Any gripes?

Wish the lens was faster, but even up to ISO 6400, very clean images when shooting black & white.

Wouldn't mind F2 or F1.4 lens either, but all in all I quite like the little camera. Starting to get the grips with it, though still a lot to learn.

And about the low light shooting, the sensor definitely has something like 2 stops over what the M9 delivers, but lenses eat that 2 stops quite fast.. so in that sense it didn't bring much to the table for me personally.

For me the biggest things are the portability and handling for such a small camera. And I'm hoping those will be further improved once I get my Thumbie for it (in the mail on it's way to me). The next thing under consideration will be some kind of VF.. haven't made the evf/ovf decision just yet.

Well, another 6 months have passed with the X2. I still like the handling & operation and the size, even with the added grip. Still haven't got the VF for it. At times it might be nice, but most of the time I can live without it just fine.

The biggest thing seems to be learning the 35mm fov. It still feels very wide most of the time and at times (though really rare) not wide enough. On my M9 I have a 50 and a 90. Seems I'm just so used to these longer focals that the 35 needs extra effort. Usually I'm not getting close enough, so there's too much foreground.

Could we get a 50/1.4 X3 please? :-D
