Say what you want about Leica oem Panasonics and special editions, but that new G-star RAW edition looks the donkeys dangles!

No intention to buy it, but wouldn't mind a X Vario one!

I got the X Vario first, then knowing that there are a few perks for the Leica Price, I got the G-Star Raw. The latter purchase wasn't even so much of an indulgence, since I use the accessories. Definitely no disappointment with the image quality from these cameras.

(BTW, found this forum via an interview with Andreas Kaufman)

I think after the initial hoopla about the "slow zoom" and the actual images starting coming in... People may have had a bit of a reality check. While you can complain about the price of Leica cameras, you can't really complain about the IQ!

Hmmm...Panasonic does not make the X bodies. Now the D lux 6 is a Panasonic and I would love to have one in a la carte if they made it!!
