New MM has arrived and I have a question.
When shooting on "A" priority, is there a quick way to over one under expose the image?

On my Fuji XT-1 there is an + & - dial right on the top of the camera to easily increase or decrease the exposure.
Other than switching back to manual exposure, any other quick option?

Thanks

I reckon MM has the same system as the M9, so even without hands-on with the MM, I'll fire away..

You should e able to set exposure compensation to the wheel in the back. This setting is set from the menu. However, many choose not to do so because it's too easy to accidently change it.

One way, that many use, to get around this is to just point at a brighter or darker part of the scene and then lock exposure with half pressing shutter. This is the fastest way of doing it for sure..

Personally, when I moved to M-platform years ago with the M8, I just quit using Aperture Priority and went full manual. It's actually quote easy and then instead of fooling the meter, you'll just change shutter speed. It's just as fast as playing with ev and you'll get much more consistent exposures through your set.

Right now I'm playing with the idea of getting a incident lightmeter, which would make things even better..

Thanks,
As I get older I get lazier! In the old days I tended to use a spot meter and shoot vis the Zone System and than over or under develop depending on the situation.

Should of have read the manual in the first place. Got out of that habit after looking at some of the Japanese camera manuals; kind of like college physics texts!

I guess I will just shoot in manual.

Thanks for the response

I only shoot manual with mine. No reason to shoot any other way.
