@Dave... A couple of conversion in Photoshop, but nothing major. Will do a few this week on vacay but everything's so colorful here now!

Really nice. Having good subject matter definitely helps. Between the camera, lens and PP "recipe" I'm really digging the look of the images.

Thanks, I realize the colors and pp are a little inconsistent. Really just trying some different things.

Here are a couple from our week at the beach so far. I haven't had the opportunity to use the M as much as I'd like because we're so messy at the beach, ocean, sunscreen, sweat. Just a little squeamish about breaking it out. So of course I'm using the X-Pro1 as backup/second (how ridiculous does that sound).

I wanted to see how I could do in abnormal conditions...ie the height of the day about 11AM in the dead summer sun. I would never take out a 5D in this situation unless I could ensure I'd have shade. Overall pleased, although I knew the highs were going to be blown--and clearly the colors are really intense, but that's what you get with wide aps and high contrast. Minimal pp, but these shots are cropped. Comments/critiques welcome.

My bride of 21 years. How I convinced this amazing woman to marry me remains a mystery.

Straight out of the camera...a little cropping, otherwise what you see....

Jairy: if these are "just test shots", then I can't wait to see the real stuff :-D

Nice portraits and a beautifull family. Maybe you should participate in the monthly challenge with some?

Thanks, you guys. @Juha: I guess I am beyond the test phase. Not really sure what that phrase means, anyway! I suppose in a sense, we're always in the 'test' phase.

I'll look for the monthly challenge.
