Yep, going back to Savannah next month. Hope to meet a couple of friends and then head on down to St. Augustine.

This time I promised myself I would take the iconic shots that I always wanted to but have never gotten around to...this time with the M3 and the X1. I will probably skip the actual cemetery known as The Garden of Good and Evil"...I don't do cemeteries... I celebrate life! IMO, if one enjoys photographing cemeteries a lot, there is something negative going on...not this photographer. The photo here is of the Wormsloe Plantation entrance on Oak Road.

Now, back to my mint julep. BTW, this is a beautiful place YOU should visit more often...The Deep South!

Oh, now that is gorgeous.

Don't forget the sarsaparilla! :)

That's lovely. I disagree about the cemeteries, though...Gothic beauty, especially some of the old ones. Come to Charleston, sometime! Lots of similar sights!

Actually, I totally agree about the beauty of cemeteries such as Bonaventure and Oakland in Atlanta....it's just that we have been fighting to keep my wife alive for such a long time, that I prefer to spend my time in celebration if you know what I mean.
And, yes, we are headed to Charleston soon! Can we meet up?

Oh sure, I hear what you're saying. But the cemeteries I guess I was referring to are the ancient ones around here. PM me and let me know when you'll be around. I've got some travel the next few months, but let's see if we could arrange a coffee or something.
