Thank you Michael. After traveling to the city many times in my life, I believe a few weeks ago was the first time I'd ever been that close to the Empire State Building

Aww, bummer - next time you're in town let me know. Maybe we can get a couple of beers and go shooting in the city. Too bad you didn't get a chance to get closer up to the ESB, it's a true "old school" skyscraper... Built like a brick sh*thouse; solid, massive. The lobby totally looks the part, too. Up until early last week it was the tallest building in the city, and they have an observation deck.

Usually my trips to NY are purely business so opportunities to photograph are walking to dinner, traveling on the subway, or happening by interesting landmarks...Next time I'm there with some kind of freedom it would be great to meet up. Thanks!
