Here's a link to the local newspaper which featured my latest photo essay on a small town in Georgia on a full-page spread complete with large photos in last Sunday's edition:

The book has been well-received and I couldn't be happier as I am working on several more. :D

That is a cool story, and a really nice picture. Congrats! Well done indeed.

I like the shout-out to the 1961 and 1981 Leicas... ;)

A photo I took of Teddy Roosevelt's house at Sagamore Hill was published online. Another set of photos was used on a small commercial site for a while. I also took publicity shots for a local youth initiative in town (the Huntington Youth Court) which can be seen here and here. My photos have been used extensively in various reviews on both my own and other websites... Finally, I had some work displayed in a gallery on the C.W. Post Campus waaaaay back in the mid-80's. :P

Thanks, Dave! :)

Nothing too major, and as I'm fond of saying, "that and $2.50 get me on the subway." If I could generate more income from photography I'd be a lot happier. ;)

But it's all good... I truly enjoy photography, paid or not - and I do have a "normal" day time job that pays the bills. Truth be told, if I had to do photography for a living (e.g. wedding photographer) it might not be so much fun anymore! For now, I'm good with freelancing. I'm looking into getting into some galleries and possibly selling prints at town fairs, etc. We'll see how that pans out.
