Hi, pretty interesting photos. An external VF is required for this lens, while using a M8.2 ? Thanks in advance for your response. Cal |

I used this lens a LOT on the M8 - and never used an external VF. I just used the whole of the internal VF or even the outermost framelines as a guide. On the M8, this lens has the equivalent focal length of about 33mm. |

Thank you so much for your quick response. I´ve read some articles here and there and somewhat contradictory about this issue. The 25/2.8 is a lens that I'm really considering to buy, due to its quality and low price (in accordance with Leica standards). Cal |

Well, the widest framelines the M8 can display are for a 24mm lens (corrected for 1.33x crop). So using those is a relatively safe bet, being slightly wider than 25mm. They're also very close to the edges of the VF... So use whatever works best for you. |
