Just noticed that there were on samples for this lens so here are a few to start. Mostly landscapes but I suppose thats what this length is mostly used for, or is that another debate :mrgreen:

Very nice Bob. The second with the "patchwork" hills is quite beautiful.

This was one of the original lens I brought when I first got my M8 and I have to say has represented excellent value for money, can't understand why some Leica users denigrate them so much. Quality of construction is good and the optical performance is more than acceptable for the cost. I suppose it must be the name!

The name indeed. Just because they aren't as buttery smooth as a $4000 Leica doesn't mean they aren't well made. They feel better made than any modern Canon or Nikon lens

Fantastic shots, Bob - thank you for sharing. Hard to pick a favorite, but I think #2 really jumped out at me. I've added this thread to the index!

Voigtländer makes some excellent lenses. I was looking at this one myself for a while - and it was a tough choice over the previous f/1.9 version... They each have their advantages. :)
