Again, very nice shots Bob. This website is becoming a very handy source for lens samples. Here are some with the Summarit 35 and various films: Attachment: 5620734689_39bd94f8da_z.jpg Tmax 3200 Attachment: 5935631678_97aab66383_z.jpg Tri-X @ 1200 Attachment: 5723055219_287b38d353_z.jpg Tmax 400 |

Very nice Bob. I was an inch from buying that lens but opted for the Zeiss 35 f/2.0 |

Many thanks. I love these lenses, can't understand why some people have such a down on them, perhaps it's because they are at the cheap end of the Leica shop. Even so, I've got the set and have been using them for around 18 months now. Very sharp and still look and perform like new. As an amateur user like me I think they offer great value for money. Great Subway Station image by the way, very nice, I like it a lot. |

Thank you Bob, I'm glad you created a thread for these lenses. I'll have to do the same for a couple more not yet on the forum... |

Here are some photos and a brick wall test: http://gelatin-silver.blogspot.se/2012/ ... leica.html http://gelatin-silver.blogspot.se/2012/ ... marit.html It seems like the Summarit 35 has a little problem with distortion. Maybe not a lens for architecture shots? Erwin Puts also write the same, but he said also that the Summarit was a little bit better than Sumicron asph. Is this a general problem or is my Summarit 35 an exception? I do my prints in darkroom and there I can not adjust this like in photoshop. |
