I failed to follow through on my promise of some color shots with this lens a couple months ago. so here is one just taken on a trip to Kauai with Kodak E100VS:

Bob for kind words.

For me compactness is a very important feature with my Leica set-up. Luckily some of Leica's 'best' lenses are also compact (the Macro Elmar 90mm and Summicron 35 ASPH for instance), but when it came to a focal length I wasn't going to use too often (21mm) I decided that I should trust all the opinions about this lens and save myself $2000 over the new super-elmar. It's worked well for me (I love the size), but it is not the right lens for an M9 the ZM 21mm f/2.8 would be the better choice.

Michael the knowledgable proprietor here is a big advocate of the ZM glass on his M9, and for a good reason...
