Shot with a borrowed 90mm Summarit lens today, found it to be soft and Un-contrasty.
Wont be buying this lens.
I have sharpened, added contrast and saturation to this image

Hmmm... image is too small to see what is good or not so good...can you enlarge the image to at least 1000p x 1000p?

I am trying to figure out how to, everytime I export at 1000x100 at 72 dpi and upload to this site I get an error message that my file size is to large.
As soon as I figure out how to upload a larger version I will

As mentioned in another thread, attachments will now scale to 800px inline, but the larger/original version is available by clicking on the image.

72dpi is okay, that's screen resolution. However, in the context of images with X x Y dimensions for the screen, irrelevant. So ignore that part. 1000x100px is very wide and thin... For an M8 or M9 image, try a resolution of 800x533 or 800x532 respectively. That's a good size that works well for me, anyway. Save as an 8-bit JPEG, sRGB color space, with around 75-80% quality (7-8 in Photoshop). You should end up with images around 100-200KB or so, depending on detail and quality settings.

I've had very different results from op with this lens, both sharp and 'contrasty'. One of my favorites lenses...

I'm a bit confused as the OP mentions the 90 with the first pic, but on the second mentions the 35. I'm thinking of chopping off the top of this thread and starting with your post, Alex.
