The first part of this week I've felt like "unlucky Al" in The Fast Show (brittish tv comedy).

Had the windscreen replaced in my Audi something like two weeks ago and then last friday had the car waxed, polished & windscreen etc nano coated.

Come monday morning and I was driving to the office at a freeway doing approx. 70mph and a piece of rock flies over the car in front of me and hits my windscreen -> you guessed, it was immediately cracked. I straight away arranged it to be fixed by a glass specialist the following morning. They can actually fix small hits these days, so no need for changing whole screen.

Anyway, I cursed at my luck and went on with my usual business...

Around 3pm I figured I'll avoid rush hours traffic and drive home a bit early. Walked to our open parking and my car was covered with seagul poop. The only car hit amongst the dozens and it was just waxed & polished... GRRRR!

The next morning got the screen fixed, which was about a 30 minute job. Drive through one of them water jet only car wash facilities and again feeling "sunny".

Figured I'll exercise a bit and went for a swim at a public swimming hall that afternoon. We have sauna's in those and you're supposed to be butt naked in them.. so I hang my swimming pants in a hook outside the sauna when I had finished my swim. Just to relax a bit in the sauna before heading home... whadda ya know, when I leave the sauna so e dirtbag had stolen my swimming pants!

freaking crazy.. who steals somebody's 4-5 years old used swimming pants??!

Figured I won't be putting in a lottery coupon this week and try to stay away from anything that's of any value to me. Enough damage for one week already!

Anyway, happy spring time to everybody!

Hi Juha

It could have been worse..... at least they didn't steal your car! LOL

Best wishes for spring time / Easter to you too.

Wow, what a crazy streak of... Luck!

I often say, "if I didn't have bad luck - I wouldn't have any at all!"

Hopefully things turn around; happy spring and Easter!

Well, things did turn around; Easter was brilliant.. absolutely fabulous weather (though turning to cold tomorrow again) and had a brilliant time with friends and family. Loads of good eating and BBQ season is now open!

Also, my venture with Sony A7r turned out to be short lived. I can't help it.. hand holding it even with 70mm & OSS was a nightmare. Those 36mpix and no AA mean that even a slightest idea of moving screws up the image and also I just didn't learn to trust that AF no matter how much I tried. I couldn't tame the beast.. I guess it tamed me!

Anyway, to lift my spirits after a streak of bad luck.. next week I'm back in ranks again. A silver M240 and 50/1.4 ASPH are on their way. And sony is back to where it came from..

I may be slower with the RF, but at least I end up where I want to instead of finding out in the post I was fast but missed the target :)

With that, I'd say things are definitely turning around!
