FYI, I've added a link for Thomas Shintaro to the site index. He's one of a very few in the repainting business and he has a great reputation (though I can't verify personally).

Often referred to as just, "Shintaro." He's located in Japan and costs range from $650-850 depending on the amount of work to be done. Basic service is a repaint, followed by dent and ding repair plus repaint and finally, dent and ding repair, repaint including eyelets and frame counter and new leather.

Note that the prices recently went up in August, 2011.
