I'm thinking of running a EIZO ColorEdge CG276 from my Macbook Pro, has anyone any experience with this monitor? I want the prints to look like what I see on the screen.
I am using a Monochrom. Thanks, Gary.

A very good monitor, Gary - but might be a little overkill for B&W work. Do you have a colorimeter (e.g. ColorMunki, Spyder, HueyPRO, etc.) by chance? I'd start there if you're not getting the consistency you want out of your current setup - as chances are, it's far cheaper than the EIZO (and you'll want one anyway, regardless of monitor).

You'll also want to keep an eye on the printer-side of things too, ensuring that the profiles are all matched up for the paper you're using, etc. If you use unique paper, for which there's no profile provided... You're going to want to color calibrate your printer/paper as well.

I'm using an iMac at the moment without a colorimeter.
I used an Eizo at a training session at Leica Mayfair and they recommend them as they self calibrate (they do not sell them)
I intend to send my files to be printed as I do not have a photo printer or the time and space for a good one.
Our camera club accept digital projected images and prints for competition and would like to enter both categories, not just DPI.
Thanks for your input.
