Does anyone use it or has anyone tried it?
Having grown tired of mixing D76 (especially since I like to use half gallon size bottles), I began the search for a liquid developer that could give me similar contrast, tones and grain with my beloved Tri-X. I didn't like the liquid options from Kodak I'd tried in the past and didn't like the mid tones I got from Tetenal blue, so I did a little research and found info about and samples from Clayton F76+. Needless to say, I really like it in the 8 rolls I developed using it so far, with the added bonus of flatter negatives then I'd ever gotten with D76. So my new routine is Tri-X in F76 plus 1+9 for 6:25 @ 20 c, Tetenal odorless fixer (which is also wonderful), Heico Perma Wash, and photoflo.
Also the generic F76+ is called Arista Premium liquid developer, available at freestyle for very cheap.
NOTE: this developer does oxidize (turns yellow, and probably eventually brown and dead) somewhat quickly with a non stoppered bottle at 1+9, so it's best to mix as you develop or use a stoppered bottle M7, MEM 90
