Well, yes...I held my first one in April and was surprised with the size and feel of the camera, so, yes, it is pretty and can be stunning with the appropriate cameraleather clothing! I especially like the black camera with brown or green leather.

Here is a cool one from the cameraleather site:

It's a rangefinder, so it's classic in that sense - but a modern camera on the inside.

As for "pretty" I like the Zeiss Ikon which is a bit more modern, or a classic Leica.

In the end, it's all the same - they're light-tight boxes which hold film and lenses. ;)

Having worn that color for 30 years it might be my last choice.

I'm dying to try one of these film rangefinders.....the new ones.

Have to say no. I prefer Leicas for looks.

But as cameras, they provide excellent value for money and work great. For similar functionality even in 2nd hand market the price difference is around 750€. That's a lot of money "for the feel". Still, I'm struggling with the choice 8-)

They are decent looking. The R2M I have is a decent camera. The Bessa T I have has terrible build quality and won't advance film properly after about 10 rolls through it.

I like their lenses better than their cameras.

Had a R2A for a while. Nice camera and an excellent workhorse. Nice looking enough, but more utilitarian than beautiful.
