Hello, I'm a new member. My first post was about my Leica M5 and Summilux 50mm f/1.4.
I find that my Digital Epson R-D1 is a very good companion for my M5. It shares all the same lenses and the 1.5 crop factor adds it's own perspective. I mostly use my R-D1 for taking pictures of flowers and landscapes. But it's also very good for taking pictures of people.
I will not write too much in this my second post. So I do hope to meet other R-D1 users here.
-Peter ;-)

Never even held an R-D1 but would love to see some of your images posted! :)

Very nice macgeorge. I always see some wonderful images from the rd1 and Voigtlander lenses, it seems a great set up at a reasonable price (in rangefinder terms). The rd1 is a nice option if you don't mind the crop factor, I would like to see them or someone else (Voigtlander/Zeiss would be fantastic) come out a new model to create a little competition for Leica

Welcome aboard gents, some sample images from the R-D1 would be great as we don't get to see many from this camera.
