Sandra Sczesny New Head of Marketing

As you know, Oliver Kaltner, who was hired as head of marketing last August and most recently replaced Alfred Schopf as CEO has left his previous position vacant. Sandra Sczesny, who's been with the company since 2010 as Director of Communications, will take on the "new" role as Global Director of Marketing and Communications on April 1, 2015 - the same day Kaltner is to officially take the reigns as CEO.

Sandra Sczesny (44) takes over from 1 April 2015, the newly created position of Global Director of Marketing & Communications at Leica Camera AG, Wetzlar. She is responsible for "Campaigning & Media", "Brand Partnerships", "Events & Fairs" and "Leitz Park & ​​Archive" and reports to Oliver Kaltner, from 1 April the new CEO of Leica Camera AG.

Sandra Sczesny is since July 2010 employed by the company and therefore has profound knowledge of the Leica brand.
