Leica Store Mayfair Hit with Theft

You may recall the Leica Store Thief Caught story a little while back... A man suspected of stealing almost $10k worth of Leica camera gear (a Leica M-E, Summicron-M 50mm f/2 lens and a filter) has been arrested, according to owners of the Red Dot Cameras - a London shop which fell victim to the theft in May. Apparently, not everyone (namely the thief) read this and now Leica Store Mayfair has fallen victim to theft.

The shoplifter made off with a pair of binoculars, specifically:

Leica 10x42 Geovid HD-B Rangefinder Binoculars (code 40049) bearing the serial number 2043129. These retail for $2,995 USD.

If you are offered this item for sale, you are asked to contact the store manager, John Murphy - who will pass the information on to the Metropolitan police who have a file on this theft.
