Leica to Open New London Store

Amateur Photographer reports that Leica's "Christmas pop-up" located in the Burlington Arcade, is set to open at 11am today, Saturday morning - and will feature a window "subtly transformed into a Leica M camera." Leica already has a store in Mayfair, situated on Bruton Place, which will remain open as normal. Leica Camera Ltd managing director David Bell said, ‘We saw the opportunity to create a unique space for Leica this Christmas, which really starts the beginning of our exciting new store in Burlington Arcade with the energy and creativity known to Leica."

The pop-up store will be open from Monday-Saturday 10am-6pm; and Sunday 11am-5pm. It is expected to remain open until late January when a permanent store is scheduled to open on the same site.

The Leica Christmas pop up, designed by Cottam + Cottam will be open throughout Christmas and features a large scale photograph of iconic London landmark, the Shard, taken on Leica S-System by photographer Richard Seymour.
