Leica Fotopark Goes Social

Just a quick note to let everyone know that the Leica Fotopark cloud service received two nice updates today, one of which has been promised since it was launched last September (or at least, went active two months later in November)... The opportunity to post comments on individual photos and message other photographers. The other part of this new feature is notifications which basically lets you know what's going on; photo likes and favorites, comments or messages. This is a step in making Leica-Fotopark a social network in its own right, competing with the likes of Flickr, 500px, etc.

Get in touch with people who share your passion: Leica Fotopark now offers you the opportunity to directly exchange ideas and opinions with other members. With the new 'comment' feature, you can post what interests you about a picture directly below it, get in touch with the photographer, ask questions and start discussions. In short, you can actively build your own dynamic network of photographers from around the globe.

To make sure you don't miss feedback from the community, there's another new Leica Fotopark feature: the 'notification' function lets you know as soon as other members like your photo, make it a favourite, leave a comment or send you a message. At a glance, you can see everything the community posts about your pictures, respond to feedback and answer questions. You can also choose how you would like to be notified: on the Leica Fotopark platform, by email, or both.
