#recreatedclassic Finalists Win X Cameras

Instagram recently challenged users to show off their artistic side, asking them to remake iconic photos and post their interpretations with the hashtag #recreatedclassic. It's somewhat similar, in spirit, to the Leica "100" video that went viral last year. The competition culminated at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity where more than 500 entries were displayed - and three winners were named at a pop-up gallery at the Hotel Majestic Barrièrre. The #recreatedclassic contest was sponsored by Leica Camera and the winners got limited-edition X cameras. Read more below for the winners and photos!

Adobe Releases ACR 9.1

Not a whole lot for Leica shooters, but a few notable things. First is the addition of a lens profile for the Voigtlander VM 15mm f4.5 Super Wide Heliar III Aspherical lens. More generic, but nice - new features include both Dehaze and Local White and Black Adjustment Sliders. You can see all the new stuff in the Lightroom Journal post "Camera Raw 9.1 is now available" and specifically the Dehaze feature on the Adobe Blog. To update, use the update mechanism in Photoshop CS6 and Creative Cloud app.
