M8/M9 Thumbie

Added today is the M8/M9 Thumbie review.

A clean, low-profile and high-quality thumb grip designed for digital M shooters. A worthwhile ergonomic enhancement, especially if you like longer or faster lenses.

Lens Shoot-Out (50mm)

Added today is the Lens Shoot-Out (50mm).

Not so much a scientific test but a basic comparison of the look-and-feel of four different 50mm lenses.

Zeiss Planar T* 2/50 ZM lens

Added today is the Zeiss Planar T* 2/50 ZM lens review.

The Zeiss Planar T* 2/50 ZM lens compares directly to the Leica Summicron 50mm f/2 in many ways. They're of the same focal length and speed, neither lens utilizes aspherical elements and both offer fantastic (if not identical) image quality.

Zeiss Biogon T* 2,8/25 ZM

Added today is the Zeiss Biogon T* 2,8/25 ZM lens review.

A simply stunning lens by any measure - capable of extremely high resolution, with practically no distortion and fabulous rendering. This focal length is about as wide as you can go without resorting to an external viewfinder on most bodies and makes a great 35mm equivalent on the M8.

Zeiss Biogon T* 2/35 ZM

Added today is the Zeiss Biogon T* 2/35 ZM lens review.

If you're looking for that first or second lens, this one surely won't disappoint. Great performance at an attractive price should place this one on your short list.

Manfrotto 709B Tabletop Tripod

Added today is the Manfrotto 709B tabletop tripod review.

If you don't need the height and can live with using other objects to provide that - this tiny, lightweight and very stable ballhead platform might be just the ticket!

Leica 135mm (SHOOC) Finder

Added today is the Leica 135mm (SHOOC) Finder review.

If you're curious about using 135mm lenses on the M system, or looking for a way to improve the experience - the SHOOC is one part of the solution (besides a magnifier).
