From our friends over at PetaPixel comes this story, posted a while back which slipped under our radar. Nelson Tan offers a critical, albeit interesting look at the Leica M Monochrom camera in the article, "Leica M Monochrom is Not Quite a Black and White Decision" (all puns intended). While initially a bit on the negative side, he questions whether or not it can deliver film-like images and takes us through the process. By the end, he'd buy one himself!

If you shoot with glasses or prefer not to because of the limitations, the Walter Eyepiece is the miracle you've been waiting for. We've been quietly (and extensively) testing the latest version, and we have to say, if you liked the original, you're going to love the new design. It has been improved in several ways, but two are fairly major.
