Yes, the M 262 is a camera I would seriously consider. I love the M9 and plan to keep it, but if the stars are aligned (read: when and if I have enough discretionary cash) I would be willing to part with the M-E.

Is Walker Evans one of your influences? The first, sixth and eighth photographs remind me of some of his work. The fourth photograph, with it's apparent multiple layers of action, reminds me of Alex Webb's work. The seventh is particularly fun!

James THANK YOU and yes how could Evans and Webb not be in the subconscious.

I haven't been able to get out much for me lately.

Webb's "The Suffering of Light" is one of my favorite photobooks. I saw a new (?) retrospective on Walker Evans' work at the local bookstore: "Walker Evans: Depth of Field." I may drop by there later today, and take a closer look.

Back just a little over a week ago from some much needed R&R in Key West and South Beach. Some thing I shot with the M 262

Awesome! Thanks for posting!
By the way, the Colony Hotel and the Clevelander Hotel in South Beach were designed by my uncle, Henry Hohauser, AIA.

Hi James,
I love the deco and mid century modern architecture in south beach. Your uncle was a very talented man and it's great to see them saving and in the process of restoring these gems.

SOBE sure has it's share of funky colors. But I have to say it's not a place where I like to spend several days... been there couple of times and somehow it's a bit like Vegas to me, was interesting to see but I have no real urge to return.

Key West however is more for my taste. Ironically I've only had the chance to visit it twice for a quick day trip.

I liked your images, very vibrant & deacribe the vibe in a very realistic manner. But if you have more photos from Key West, could you post some of those?

It's very gray & wet late autumn / early winter in here, so I wouldn't mind some sun filled photos to cheer up the day! [emoji16]

I'm envious, and they are great shots too.
