Welcome, and nice to meet you, Vinicio. I had the pleasure of living in Venice for two weeks in May, 2012. I and several art students and our teacher and his wife stayed in a 16th century palazzo on the Canale Grande, right in front of the San Polo vaporetto dock. We spent all our time drawing, painting and admiring the spectacular art and scenery. It is a wonderful city. Difficult to pick my favorite spots, but the Tintoretto Crucifixion on the second floor of the Scuola Grande de San Rocco, the La Fenice Opera, and the Accademia are right up at the top of the list.
I've attached a snapshot one of the other art students took of me (alas, she was not using a Leica!), enjoying an espresso around the corner from the Pescheria.
I hope to return to Venice, one day. Kind regards,
Jim
