The Porsche braided hose pen must rank among my favourites. It is however Very heavy. The Montblanc Meisterstuck 149 is another favourite.

The Porsche pen is very sweet... I've admired that one for a long time, but never had the opportunity to handle it. Interesting that it's so heavy, but I can see why!

Bought two Lamys earlier this year from PenzDetroit at Fort and Washington. Loving them! Problem for this fountain pen re-kindler is the scarcity of good paper in everyday settings. I like big nibs, and the bleed-through is nasty on cheap stock.

I've always loved fountain pens, but since my job and daily life in general doesn't contain much writing, I only use one by Lamy, to sign contracts and things like that.

I write allot, but mostly digital.

Sadly, that's exactly my problem as well Jip. I don't hand write nearly enough (or as much as I used to). :(

Big fan here. I've been using FPs for most of my life. My constant companion is a Montblanc Nº146, almost always inked with Noodler's Bad Black Moccasin. I would like to add a Nº149 but alas, my priority has been rebuilding my Leica M system. I also have some Parker Duofolds, OMAS, Edison, TWSBI, Noodler's Flex and even a full Brause dip set. I also have a few nice drafting pencils like the Rotring 600 and Uni Kuru Toga. It all started with a Rotring 300 pencil in junior high. I still have it!

That's a sweet collection, redhawk!

I have a Rotring 600 (gold) FP in black. It's one solid chunk of pen! I do believe I have some mechanical pencils as well, though far less fancy... From when I did mechanical drawing in high school (AutoCAD, what?).

I was a big Noodler's fan until I came across Pilot Iroshizuku inks. I've got nearly all of them, ha.

I've loved the Pelikan fountain pens for ~30 years. Don't have many of them (they last long!) but my "flagship" is the M760 Jubilee Gold from 1988.

They do pretty much last forever, don't they?!

That sounds like a great model. My oldest is from 1950-1954 - a green striated 400, with an OM nib.
