After my delayed reaction to all of this discussion about nuclear reactors at Kodak, & our surrounding environs, I found the U. S. Energy Administration Information online site that lists the location of all such reactors in the US (Wikipedia also has a worldwide listing that is staggering). But to my great relief there are none here in the CA desert where I reside. Then my wife reminded me our home sits pretty much on top of the San Andreas Fault. Yikes after all I guess!

Oh dear, they're not on the US Energy Dept's radar! But ironically I forget that years ago I trained as a radar navigator/bombardier on USAF B-47 & B-52 aircraft, which at that time only had one purpose - the delivery of 20megaton warheads to the evil empire. I think maybe I slept better at night back then.

I've done a whole lot of construction in the desert out there. Barstow, Trona and Ridgecrest were all my second homes.

You really don't want to know what is out there in places like Fort Irwin, China Lake, Yermo and Edwards.

Cool pix, JD. Check my gallery for a B&W shot of a coyote, taken with a M4-P through the sunroof of my car as I was driving down my street.
