So what's your favorite light meter?

Me? I love the Sekonic L-308S. It runs on a single, readily available AA battery that seems to last forever. It reads incident and reflected, wired and wireless flash, regular and EV... If it were waterproof and the LCD backlit it'd be perfect.

Gossen Digisix. It's little, durable (I've put mine through a wash cycle), and is more than capable for my shooting.

I like my Gossen Luna Pro S, but it is a bit bulky. Got a semi-spot attachment for it as well, but I haven't tried it much. Sometimes I use my iPhone, but I like a "real" meter more.

Either a Weston Master V (for film) or a Weston Euro-Master (for digital).

I've got a Sekonic L308S too, and love it for the same reasons you do!

I have a lightmeter app for the iPhone too, but oddly I never use it. How accurate is it?

Yup, yup. I just wish they'd update it with weathersealing and backlighting! I guess lightmeters are the unloved stepchildren of photography or something. Only the insane high-end models seem to get any love (updates).

iPhone. I use 2 different free apps, one is set to my usual base ISO of 400, the other to whatever my push ISO is on my other meterless camera. Both are quick and as accurate as I need them to be.
